What is the gender equality certification

The gender equality certification is a recognition that certifies the company’s commitment to promoting fair and inclusive policies and practices.

The certification is not mandatory, but is a voluntary choice made by organisations that wish to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility and to transparent, equitable, merit‑based policies, where gender diversity is not a limitation but an opportunity for collective development and growth. The reference standard is UNI/PdR 125:2022.


How to obtain the gender equality certification

Obtaining the certification requires adopting a specific gender equality system and demonstrating compliance with specific KPIs (key performance indicators). These include:

To obtain the certification, it is necessary to rely on third‑party certification bodies accredited by Accredia, which will conduct an audit to verify the requirements and the achievement of the objectives, issuing the certification afterwards. The certification is valid for three years, with an annual monitoring audit to maintain it.
